I have seen a lot of magic mods with JB Weld.  A guy was using it to
reduce the intake ports in racing motorcycles kind of like a velocity
stack right inside the head to raise the pressure differential,
surprising the stuff actually holds up inside a head.  Same guy was also
showing the diff between engines broken in hard from the first ride.  He
claimed the nikosil when new acts like a perfect file to seat the rings
and after the abrasive part is worn down it is too late to break it in
properly.  He was pulling pistons on a normal break in and the high RPM
from 0 miles.  The pistons with the 0 mile break in had no carbon on the
sides as did the normal break in ones from minimal blow by, interesting
stuff.

I am sure all of this can be taken further with proper vortex parameters
but then if properly performed one might not require fuel anymore and
that's a serious infraction to the tar suckers who think they own this
place.
