Thanks, Steve, for most folks do not know how molten sulfur creates bonds with concrete. Norm, Others I remember installing by contract for a company called Stelco a slitter line. It was done with lazers and the foundations were enormous . Bolt anchoring was by the hundreds, they were in massive sizes, so we had to be precise. When we were cleaning up the site to prep it for the install. I remember jokingly complaining to a fellow making a mess, from Stelco. Thinking it was some type of absorb ant ! lol Been a while ! So I am guessing it acts as a dielectric as well!? Neutralizing the Lyme area perhaps. By this time I would be on the radio doing the next thing as it was union wages! Hmmm !? I have had handy neighbors from time to time. One was a chemists, another metallurgy, physicist , as well as various profs . So from time to time I would fire up the bq and have a social exercise. I have ran the reactor with just stainless steel of course using potassium hydroxide. I really just dislike the stuff. You do get a different burn rate , one that is much easier to manage and cleaner, but you know that in the back of your mind you are going to have to handle it again ( burns your skin). Some times characteristics of particular elements is all you may need to trigger another value s on others for reaction times . I have tried to sit down with several persons with what I felt was the proper background for the application. How ever they all in the end of the chat said the same thing.... you need to build it! Keep records and experiments , do not always presume to know the outcomes, were their reply's. James mentioned thermite! I also thought of this or any other means in the fact of employing and keeping just off of its tipping point. Giving it just enough to maintain itself! I will try to post some pics today as my skills are not what they once were on this binary machine coordinator!! The pics are not great nor done for descriptive value intended but should be enough for discussion s. ________________________________ From: [email protected] <[email protected]> on behalf of [email protected] [EVGRAY] <[email protected]> Sent: March 10, 2019 11:37 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [EVGRAY] Facts About Sulfur Norman Hand railings put in concrete with Sulphur will be in place when all others fail Steve -----Original Message----- From: Norman Wootan [email protected] [EVGRAY] <[email protected]> To: EVGRAY <[email protected]>; Art Devine <[email protected]>; Bert Pool <[email protected]>; Bob Paddock <[email protected]>; joel mcclain <[email protected]>; Lane Wootan <[email protected]>; Mbking42 <[email protected]>; Walt <[email protected]>; Toby Grotz <[email protected]>; Steven Elswick <[email protected]>; Angel Alvarez <[email protected]>; Fredric Fletcher <[email protected]>; Jeane Manning <[email protected]>; Jon Gentry <[email protected]>; Phil Rembold <[email protected]> Sent: Sun, Mar 10, 2019 9:14 am Subject: Re: [EVGRAY] Facts About Sulfur Bart, here is the reason for my posting of the subject SULFUR. My daughter has a very expensive wedding cake server knife made of two parts, A crystal glass handle and a Stirling silver knife blade. well it came apart and she could not find a glue to put it back together. I go back to my Way Back Machine of memories and told her the sulfur story from my childhood. The Bridge Foundry in our home town was installing a drop forge on the machine shop floor. It weighed about 50 tons.
