I am trying to develop and design a quick change cell for energy needs on the go or even on the home front.
One that can last long periods and is easily changed out. So you would carry several then change out when needed. Sort of thing.

This might be a good storage medium for hydrogen using a fuel cell .you
just me x iron and silicon from 25 to90 % silicon to gether and melt .I was
thinking of thermite or induction Furness  you can make diamonds by mixing
in carbon into the molten steel and let cool .there small and black but
diamonds .think sand paper or sharping stone or dril bits .you know I just
read that volcanic deposits are Ferrosilicon  there was an article on
removing the diamonds from it and it was receded to as Ferrosilicon. Are
volcanoes more useful than going bang ?.

have to keep adding lye to it well ?.

Well that's the thing.
Then your dependant on a continuous input of substance such as a Rossi build with adding nickel.
I am trying to find a mix that can sustain a running period maintaining the out put pressure and fuel grade.
I will post some very rustic builds from 10 years back.
I was hoping to have a tidy report with values by this time so some one like Norm would be willing to add it to rex . I do not however have exact values due to the fact that I keep changing elements.  I have recently tried --mag  al  zinc copper cast iron  stainless steel .
I have only pressured up stainless to 250 lb .
It's quick but I can only at this time get 35 min on a 5 hp gen low idle.  7  - 800 rpm.
I feel with the right combination it can easily loop. All on 100 % tap water.
I have some pictures and videos.  The videos need editing because there are people on them.
