We all have an interest in the permanent magnet motor possibilities, 
especially Kone and most have experimented with same over  the years.  I 
personally ordered plans and built three of the Adams motors, one of 
which was an exact replication even down to the sparking star 
commutation depicted in the drawings. Oh, BTW, it was the only one that 
displayed even a chance of being over unity. The gell cell 12V battery 
slowly started dropping voltage after running for a full day holding its 
own.  The electronic commutation of the motor was not as good as the old 
spark commutator.  I built the Muller, odd, even pole version of these 
motor with no O/U success.  I built the skewed pole Gray repulsion  pole 
motor but  understood that the secret was in the driving circuit which 
captured the heavy spike emf from commutation.  I wish Kone much success 
with his motors since he is most active of this group.   Just my take on 
this recent hysteria over this subject.  Norm
