I am posting this again because it is so important and illustrates
exactly what Norm is teaching us.
The magnetic vortex was recorded using hall sensors and plotted into a
3d computer graphics system in order to replicate the XYZ positioning of
the real field. I have never seen a better study of permanent magnet
theory.
