Hi That
Maybe fields not meant to alternate polarity. But rather all pulsed one way then flyback spike and  perhaps actual back emf is harvested? 
Perhaps flyback spike harvested and back emf cancelled?
Left out in diagram I think is rotovertor mode with For example if 3ph motor,  2 phases pulsed and 3rd phase bridged with cap (somehow) l wonder how that would work in DC

I just caught this so will pass it on. May well be already known but the devil is in the details.
Refering back to Hectors solo post of the diagrams, the one to the left is in fact showing a 
WYE setup in that the brushes are + and - and all the other ends of the coils of the armature
are tied to each other. Not to a source. That would become a radical rewind of the armature
to single fields alternating N and S. 
  This makes it N and S with overlapping fields and I am hooked to see just how they interact.
That can of worms just got over filled.

DougI have never tinkered with the windings on my DC motors to see just where they go. I have quite a few of them, and might be able to perhaps spare one for science.However, high on my agenda, is replicating our daisy chain motor experiment, which oddly enough, might be barking at a similar phenomena.
I think Hector might have been quietly sitting on this info for decades. I do find it is so hard to understand.There is that sloppy moment when brushes arc, hence, the diode bridge trick, to quench that arc, and save it, to pass it on to the next motor.Hector's idea is just more efficient in terms of iron, and copper mass, keeping the the mess a lot more tidy, than stretching it out along a long table, lined with motors.I think my experiment just relies on the sloppy overlap in timing of the motors, perhaps?I am pretty ignorant of the fine details of DC motor engineering, and I am sure that Dayton etc, don't publish their trade secrets, so much.Cheers Warren

If you check my very old postings i mentioned a million times to convert RVs to PM motors with PM rotors and run DC motors as outrunners wired in WYE ....

not my fault if people were intricately immersed in useless bullshit instead of jumping into the real stuff! 

i was not "sitting" on it, people simply "shit" on it because simplicity is rejected and substituted for fancy bullshit!

One statement I did long ago to Newman ..... why you don't convert a normal PM motor to a Newman motor ?  , the answer was "because i will not have anything to sell"  same answer i got from Bedini & others ..... 

a dc motor in WYE is a compact Newman motor , a compact EV Gray motor and an RV all in one package, just Konemotor it to hell!  and you got OU ! 

and don,t tell me i was sitting on it when i vomited it all over long years in the forum !

You have a world view of your concepts we often have the view of the
elephant in the room from the blind mans perspective, in other words a
very small slice of the picture. Just remember because you see the whole
unit in your mind and or on the bench we do not.  Had I been working on
the RV as you stated and learned all the ins and outs as a system of
schooling again as you present I think I would have put two and two
together with the DC but then again maybe not when you posted the
schematic with the brush position the other day I went fuck yes! as it
now makes good sense.  Just remember everyone does not have your view or
knowledge of these systems and it does not come naturally to everyone so
verbosity is extremely helpful, even redundancy in your word vomit.

By the way how much capacitance does one require per 100 watt to power
correct the RF DC coming from a modded 90v 1750 PMDC motor running at
rated speed into a 100 ohm load?
