From growing up in this era of Aeronautical Engineering, post WWII, 1957, it is very interesting to see where technology was at the time and where we were going in the future. Keep in mind that this is prime time for the development of fantastic aircraft by such firms as the famous Skunk Works, Lockheed and other Military Industrial Contractors plus the emerging space programs. Just click save to your documents and go at your leisure and read some rather interesting articles. A real gold mine of ideas and applications. Just saying. Bert Pool, still searching for the Scientific American article on the Barium Titan-ate crystal laser Phase Conjugate mirror satellite killer. Lol https://physicsworld.com/a/optical-data-storage-enters-a-new-dimension/ Just think that common shrimp can see light in other dimensions. See https://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/2008/05/24/the-superior-eyes-of-shrimp Just think of the possible data storage capability of the shrimps optical ability. Fantastic. All of the DEW, Directed Energy Weapon conspiracy group has a field day over open source articles like this. On going research. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Directed-energy_weapon Bert, I wonder why that Scientific American Article is so difficult to find???? Maybe one of you other guys out there can find it. Norm, I am not sure I agree with Bearden's nomenclature. I can see a scalar field but a wave implies a vector. Not sure why he used wave as a descriptor when it seems to define field perturbations rather than direction. When Bearden came out with his scalar stuff I visited an EE over at UCLA to get an opinion, all I got was berated. Funny thing is now much of Beardens info seems pretty right on if one keeps an open mind. I have the Scientific American somewhere as that was a total mind blower. Well they sure let the cat out of the bag and seem to be intent on stuffing it back in. I think the article was called Time Reversed Light. There is an awesome Youtube of the experiment I once posted to this group. MickI like to see cats out of the box....er bagThis quantum stuff gets some people's knickers all twistedCheers Warren Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android On Fri, 14 Dec 2018 at 1:11 PM, Mick [email protected] [EVGRAY]<[email protected]> wrote: Norm, I am not sure I agree with Bearden's nomenclature. Maybe one of you other guys out there can find it. See https://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/2008/05/24/the-superior-eyes-of-shrimp Just think of the possible data storage capability of the shrimps optical ability. Fantastic.
