Today I went Googling for 'Magnetic Battery'.
Always amazing what you can find in the Archive of the CIA:

It is a 1953 German document translated into English in 1955.  Don't
know that there is anything really exciting about it, other than the
CIA had it.  If the Germans and Governments were pondering what to do
with Dielectric Amplifiers back then, then what are They really doing
with them now?

Many here have come across the 'Cook Coil' or the 'Cook Magnetic Battery'.
People are always focused on winding the coils as he did, rather than
focusing on the clearly shown 180-degree twist in the wires between
the two coils.  Consider what a twisted magnetic field might do?  Also
where does one get Iron wire these days?

BobI found steel vinyl coated wire in florist's supply stores like White Rose or any flower- craft type store, even in dollar stores stocking florists supplies.It comes in a variety of colors.It is just plain soft steel mechanic's wire with a run through the insulation process, for electrical work.It is interesting that dielectric amplifiers, and, on the allies side, in Canada, magnetic amplifiers were being developed for, amplifying automatic anti aircraft tracking guns, moving the turrets with servos, driven by magnetic amplifiers, that unlike vacuum tubes, made of glass, don,t crack when the cannon goes off with the concussion shock wave.

Bob, you have come to the right place, looking for annealed soft iron 
wire for I have bought a lot of it.  Home depot used to have it for it 
is widely used for concrete re-bar tying & hay bailing.  current vendor is:

It is about 22 ga. soft, pure iron and I sprayed mine with Polly vinyl paint to give an insulation so I could wind coils.      BTW,  great info in that message.   Norm

Hi Norman,

Many of those old technologies became obsolete with the developments done in different kinds of semiconductors. I have seen someone building an audio magnetic amplifier using modern technology. This has become possible by using semiconductors for generating the carrier wave which has to be of much higher frequency than the highest frequency used in the audio range. Those old technologies are still being used in different kind of transducers for converting different kinds of energy into electrical signals. I haven't really tried the dielectric amplifier. The effects will still be used in transducers as the world is analog before being converted into digital signals.

Parametric pumping of magnetic and dielectric amplifiers has shown overunity power. The old Russian magnetic amplifier experiments form the 1930's and Chris Carson's rotary electrostatic converter are such kinds of technology as well as the MRA.

Hi OleBack in the late seventies, I was in a gathering of old Ham radio guys, who had worked during WWII developing an automatic servo controlled anti aircraft cannon using magnetic amplifiers.This was a top secret project, that was terminated because the war ended. They told me they got it working just fine.Ironically, I got the steel alloy wire that I built my ferro cement boat from, from that very same research project, involving the anti aircraft cannon. My wire is cobalt steel, of an oval cross section  that was to be used to wrap around the gun barrels, so they would retract after each round was fired, instead of gradually expanding to a bell shape with repeated shots, and needing replacement.A special steel was produced in Canada just for this purpose, made into this wire, to be wound around the barrels in tension. I managed during a steel shortage, in the seventies, to buy this prototype material for scrap price, at an old scrap yard in Toronto, that had purchased it in 1954 from the Canadian government, all 7.5 tons of it. NormanHave you tried to make a mobius coil? Have you tested one?
It seems not unlike a sailor's rope work cringle, which is done by hand, by traditional old time sailors.One would best like to use very fine multi strand wire, that is very flexible, and soft, to work with.I made a machine to wind, by hand crank, Bedini twist wire from numerous spools, making multi filar wire up for winding coils. It works quite well.I also made a coil winder, complete with Veeder meter, to count turns, when cranking away.It used to be hard, in the downtown city core, to get a long run to stretch out your winding. Here in the country, that is just not a problem.It would be good to learn of other people's experiences with these coils, and how they are working for them.There seem to be so many ways to get free energy, that it is a bit overwhelming to try them all.Cheers Warren
