Have a few of those old Haflers here I was at Capital when the Hafler
rep showed the chief tech how they blew away the crowns that were
there,after dog and pony all amps replaced.  I don't use them much
anymore running full differentials instead try amped into custom
monitoring chain. 

Difficult to servo a speaker without an accelerometer on the motor such
as extra voice coil decoupled from main input or optical
interferometer.  What is coming back from the voice coil motor is
smeared to hell.

Steve Hacket amazing player, did all the Eddie Van Halen tricks back in
1970.  One can hear the sound quality available then in Selling England
by the Pound aside from some peaking distortion clipping the old low
voltage transistors in the console, should have had tubes less
distortion, but it's better than most modern recordings out there.  The
mics were all tube and that makes a huge difference.  Unfortunately most
recording engineers now don't have a clue about electronics.

Are you using analog or digital pulse shaping?  Show me the circuits. 
What do the square waves at about 150Hz look like out of the speakers
with a lab mic?

Audio amp is a servo, locking in with speaker voltage for  lightning fast response to changing Independence.
Mosfet finals are my favorite like the old Hafler Trans sonic designs. Used best MOS diff amp chips made. They still get better so upgrading is just a swoop

I experienced troubleshooting hell because tiny SMT resistors solder balls60/40 solder stuck to my probe DVM tip results, draging like pencil lead with a new path of sneek current between nodes. It is so tightly balanced!

I'm doing Tesla stuff.I own a Beringer stereo digital EQ with LAB MIC input and room analyzer functions. I don't play with square waves, I test by naturally keen ears.
If my 0 ohm drive amp works right I don't really care what the speaker motor does, other than fry the winding, but I use alum. former type.
I also built custom motored genuine Leslie spinning horns for the holographic effect.Clapton always uses Leslie on everything, other favorite artist, and allot of vocalist too
Kone build a turntable for his Fucktone speakers too.
When you drive a charged line low the signal travels  at half voltage the other way.... Phase conjugation three way mixing seems the way to perfect electronics and might need optical wave properties to activate power switches.
I don't think science has reconciled every aspect of time domain thus the Quantum uncertainty.

Alike the "spooky action at any distance"Sync the power switches to this and could be Ill be "on the hit list"
