It's easier to just swap the wires than having to wind the coils in different directions. It's which way the current takes around the core that determines which way the magnetic field points. Swapping two wires of a three phase motor is enough to swap one of the pole sets to make the rotating field go in the opposite direction. No need to rewind the coil set in the opposite direction. Swapping the wires is way easier. Ok DougI am finally seeing itYou are running coils inside,.......as well as outside? What arrangement are those outside magnets in n,s,n,s...? Of course, outside of those, will you get a different wave form?...or just slightly weaker? Are your cores ferrite? My Kromery works with that severe sloshing back and forth of the coils alternatively changing polarity.I find my bundle of welding rods gets hot from the eddy currents, at high speeds, which, of course, is very undesirable.I could change the cores to ferrite, or perhaps unubtainium Metglas wire but have bolted into the bushes, after easier prey, being on the scent of a simpler, more efficient way, only to find they keep dissolving before my eyes, as I get closer, and the scent might have only been passing perfume. However, other than the sliding by of strong magnets being way easier, than trying to pull them apart, demonstration it provided, you were right to persuade me to switch over to the Muller type configuration, simply because it is way easier to construct, and keep changing stuff.Let's face it, these are prototypes.Lets get the concepts right before bothering to build swiss watches. One has to remember the Howard Johnson lesson, when we experiment ( and Hector with dreams of millions for research, too) Howard's prototypes made from broken chunks and chips of magnets, stuck with epoxy and sticky tape, on bits of wood, running on a toy railroad track worked perfectly, getting him so excited that he bet the farm on having a hired machinist build the uber solution aluminium polished public debute, press conference machine. So pressed for time, and likely the bank calling his loans, he rushed that still untested shiny object up to the podium untested, in private, or public, or at all, but so very confident it would work, only to discover, when the curtains opened that sucker was a dud.As a special effects man, that is the most crushing anxiety dream you can have. I have had to blow up an entire full sized space station where the paint is hardly dry, everything untested, after working 56 hours straight, and trying the left over, explosive link proved to be a dud, a few minutes before show time. Blood pressure?Yes, Howard, putting up his home as collateral, and the damn thing was a dud in front of all the news cameras, just because he didn't factor in eddy currents in aluminium, blocking, and binding his self running motor, shiny, and polished, though it was.He was was an emotional, and financial wreck after that, even though he was a brilliant pioneer.Sound familiar? This is why I do this stuff on my own lousy little budget, such that it may be. My mistakes are all mine, and already paid for, as is the occasional discovery, and learning experience, making it fun, rather than a gut wrenching, heart throbbing ordeal, which continues to kill my former colleagues in the business.Oh there I go, blathering away off topic again, SorryCheers Warren Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android On Fri, 23 Nov 2018 at 4:19 AM, 'Douglas L. Hi Warren just posted construction of coils to be mounted between the 2 rotors....16 magnets in each rotor all N facing. Idea is for motor coils pulse too induce full length of ferrite core so now backend also pulses 2nd magnet for double power pulse for same imout. Also generator coil winds nduced by core too, along with magnet sweeping past at backend hopefully at certain rpm and dc power input s there will be no Lenz law to loading of generator coil maybe loading generator coil will speed up rotor too which would be ultimate performance of tjis if so should loop. Almost have it ready to test 2 more days I hope Kone

Kono have you concidered windng the coils clockwise and ccw with a common ground in the middle all going to a bridge diode .that's how don Smith set up he's energy collection .the ground point would end up at the cores netrual zone and you might get a blend of more amps and volts .just a thought .
