Hi Sven

Yes I have used the little piezo transformers and have also used disks
in a tank circuit acting as the capacitance.   On the transformers I was
able to get the most gain by using sine waves as they like a clean
signal without distortion components being of high Q at the designed
frequency. Something I need to get back to in order to determine more facts.

Our Piezo element was made for Branson ultrasonic welders.  They had an 
upper voltage of 120VAC with a capacitance of 352pf and operating freq 
of 35khz. PZT hard ceramic.
