Hello everyone, is it possible to use resonant capacitors in the case of FR transformer in addition to switching piezo elements in parallel or do the thin elements hold over 400V? The MRA of Norman works with a large piezo element, unfortunately I can not get something like this or I search wrong via google. regards Sven

Hi Sven Yes I have used the little piezo transformers and have also used disks in a tank circuit acting as the capacitance. On the transformers I was able to get the most gain by using sine waves as they like a clean signal without distortion components being of high Q at the designed frequency. Something I need to get back to in order to determine more facts. Our Piezo element was made for Branson ultrasonic welders. They had an upper voltage of 120VAC with a capacitance of 352pf and operating freq of 35khz. PZT hard ceramic.
