 On the other hand i am trying to set up the ham emergency radio station 

 , stupid to think echo link will survive a huge EMP event or a disaster scenario

 redesigned the harvest 130 discone for standard 3/8 -24 thread as as it was it was a huge POS !  i may be able to fit a QUAD BAND WHIP ON TOP OF IT !
 also the tram 1411 discone will go the same way .....

 

 on HF  well i have the privileges but lack the radio , got some SSB capable CBs out of slumber ,,, this things are near 40 years old ! may go down to 12 meters and up to10 with some broadbanding modifications .....
 

 just dreaming on a HF full bander all modes . or i will have to do my own ...

Hector have thought of hooking into the orbiting satilights  over head
there's a hell of a lot of stuff up there .and from every country on the
