Cool Mike, you're building a Sterling engine of sorts. Also look into the phase change expansion from liquid to gas, this requires lower pressures but heat differentials that are not as extreme if the system is kept on the edge of the liquid to gas phase. Sort of a low temperature steam engine... It's not just the pressure change but how quickly the change happens. http://www.chemistry.wustl.edu/~edudev/LabTutorials/Thermochem/Fridge.html On 9/18/2018 10:19 AM, Mike Rady [email protected] [EVGRAY] wrote: > > > I don’t know if this will help you but I am trying to build a > refrigeration system of some sort that works as a camper refrigerator > but instead of retrieving the cold for my food storage I’m wanting to > retrieve the pressure difference and turn it into drive power for a > generator the 410 a Freon has a 645 psi increase with just 101° > temperature difference I m using a homemade wood heater in the > backyard to heat water with Another pipe run into the firebox that my > freon will flow through with minimal fire should have quite a bit of > pressure have to watch my flashpoint and should be able to get a large > expansion chamber out of it which I’m free to do what I want with it > > Sent from my iPhone > >

I don’t know if this will help you but I am trying to build a refrigeration system of some sort that works as a camper refrigerator but instead of retrieving the cold for my food storage I’m wanting to retrieve the pressure difference and turn it into drive power for a generator the 410 a Freon has a 645 psi increase with just 101° temperature difference I m using a homemade wood heater in the backyard to heat water with Another pipe run into the firebox that my freon will flow through with minimal fire should have quite a bit of pressure have to watch my flashpoint and should be able to get a large expansion chamber out of it which I’m free to do what I want with it Sent from my iPhone
