Here in Manitoba you could buy a complete car from a accident (roll over) for as little as 400 Bucks.

Put everythink out that you want and sell the rest, body and unwanted motor  parts to the salvage yard for 200 Bucks.

Makes a lot of parts for 200 CAD, of course there is some work involved but also lots of   fun.
