GE Amplidyne

I recently came across the subject of the amplidyne generator and was quite taken by the fact it can do 1000:1. What baffles me is the regen winding in it. I can figure out the field winding and the armature winding set and adding the extra set of brushes ok. The reverse wound coil which is shown in the patent outside of the drawing makes no idea of how it is really wound on the field area. 

Does any one here have an idea of how to place that winding? I would love to play with this design some on an open frame mock up so I can easily change setups.  Where does this coil place in contrast to the field? And if possible, to what ratio as well.

And look at the " watch free energy" you tube  video  I put up showing 3ph amplidyne running a 3ph motor as load and putting out near same voltage and x3 the amperage in each leg...
Missouri wind and power tested it I don't think the paranoid inventor ever returned but this looks leg it to me ....something Brian Prater or Hector would come up with....

I will guess it is 3ph AC motor modified with PM rotor and there are two independent winds one is motor other is the generator this.makes iy amplidyne....somehow he beat Lenz law but just guessing since we know little but 3ph out and permanent magnets plus it some.
What I liked is that company tested it.and knew what they were doing the video seems legit but too bad we know little more.

I did see that video earlier on. It gave little info as to what he did and to me, it should have had a motor driving the gen head. Then some were single units too. 
  I am going to use a universal vac motor and a separate drive so I can monitor the input to the output. If I read it right, the extra coil is a bit less winds than the field coils to do away with the back force created. Time will tell if that is right. A complete rewind of the fields and extra are in order.
