MickIn Canada, back in the seventies, we had to send and receive 10 words a minute, a task I found really hard.In a lucky fit, I passed the test.It was like learning to ride a horse to get your driver's licence.
It was then an archaic filter to keep the popular jargon of truckers, and such, off certain wave lengths, reserving them for communications, with a degree of decorum.It was changed in the eighties, grandfathering those who did the ten words to "advanced amateur" status, allowing television video transmission, and Pactor experimentation on certain frequencies.The States were always easier for licences.Cheers WarrenSent from Yahoo Mail on Android

About post hurricane this place had gone to the dogs  , the worst part is someone is deliberately destroying us on intent .....

and its not a conspiracy or lunacy illusion , the quantity of sabotage and theft & destruction during the hurricane am amounted to an organized  military terrorist attack .

most Police forces are with no telecommunications !  not to name inter-agency total protocols failure , i will try to pitch in  a few solutions but in a government that wants total control  on their structure when the head hierarchy fails the whole body dies, their total control turned to none !
