Hi James:
    A long time ago I was playing with my new signal gen and had a non coated piece of wire on the signal side only running across the room and back. I then took a regular red led and made a loop out of each leg around each part of the wire. When I moved it back and forth on the wire, it would light up when I hit 2 different nodes. A + - that is of the ac signal on the line. The frequency was not that high either. 
   Kind of like the hair pin circuit just not shorted. On the hair pin, the frequency has to be so it does not see the short at the end. 

Hope that is relevant to the discussion here.

 replication .what ? Hivoltage  positive pluse stream using
 a cap a spark gap and magnetic or air quenching ? Then
 collect the radiant .sounds simple ..that Swiss power wheel
 may be the same tec in a different form .it said in the PDF
 that there is a way to use hivoltage negitve the same way
 .that wheel uses both I think firing those hivoltage pluses
 from the electrostatic wheel into those big cans/caps
 collect the radiant and they recycle it to run the wheel
 .easy because your not using any solid state in it only caps
 . Bedini was shown the insides of it and he drew a picture
 of what he saw its on the net somewhere I've seen it
 before but lost track of it .if I remember right theres a
 spark gap ...a carbon rod siver tipped ... in the middle
 surounded by concentric copper rings with holes in them to
 collect the radiant .remember radiant will run a inverter
 when put Thu caps first . when something will electrify a
 whole room and several floors down too that's impressive
 .nothing else compares. It's like rain it's there
 just get more buckets .
