Just get your own geiger counter.They work really well, even at several feet away.I bought a super great ampmeter from a WWll aircraft at a Toronto flea market one time Had it in my pocket most of an afternoon, blew the needle nearly off scale, with its radium painted dial, one day, when I fired up my newly aquired surplus geiger counter in my studio.I got this ticking, and went on a search with the wand, and bingo, it was the ampmeter across the room. Bummer!Too bad! It was a beauty!It should work with salmon too.
Don't speculate. You can check radiation from a long ways off, no problem.Cheers Warren

Your tax dollars at work engineer said no don't do it I quit and Congress
said do it on a fault line .and put the stand by generator on top of the
reactor so you can't get to it to use it when things get out of control .a
lot of money must of changed hands .graft corruption ect. There problem
long dead by now but we could dig them up and shoot them anyway .😊
