Hello Warren, Mick, in German does not make much sense, here is only spoken by pulsed DC voltage but maybe the secret is elsewhere in the batteries. Since I can do better with the diode plug, have now connected for the impedance adjustment a heavy Variac. About him I can regulate the voltage for the battery. I noticed something strange in the first attempts that with increasing voltage, only the current increases and then drops sharply as if the analog display wanted to show negative values. The voltage in the battery rises sharply. Had to cancel due to time reasons. Greetings Sven

We need Sven to translate this for us, as I can't make much sense of it even after reading the translation you were kind enough to provide.

The only thing I got out of it was some kind of decoupled amplifier by using optocouplers to decouple the bias voltage from the gain voltage input on an amplifier.   After decoupling the control voltage an amplifier still requires the power input for gain so I am at a loss of what these guys are explaining.  Also       30kW out of something the size of a USB dongle does not make any sense.

SvenSusequent to the big motor experiment, I tried to duplicate it with little dc toy motors. It was a failure. I did not get the same effect.I then got very busy with work, and had to put everything in storage, never getting back to it, with new distractions, and all. It might be good to give it another try now that I have instruments.Cheers Warren

Remember how at high frequencies there is an effect called "skin effect"?
This is where electrons have to migrate from inside a wire to it's outer
surface before current actually starts flowing.
The Voltage is present but no current yet.
This is Tom Beardens "mass-less displacement current".

I saw that it takes greater than 100 microseconds in copper wire before
conduction electrons reach the surface.
In order for them to actually "flow" through a load.

So what they likely do, is very quickly allow a capacitor to "see" the
applied voltage but disconnect it within < 100uSecs ....before charge
current can flow.
The capacitor sees the charge voltage and draws energy from the ambient
surroundings to reach the applied voltage ..as there's no direct current
path.

By placing the capacitor in series with the supply voltage the load then
sees twice the applied voltage.
It sounds quite unbelievable I know.

blown diodes & caps ..... and blown xenon tubes .....

also used many transformers impedances ranging from 23 to 600Ohms ,,,
cant tell the exact one as hurricane messed up my notes & stuff ,,,

the 75 KW transformer was also flashed by a disposable camera flash
modified to self flash with an SCR switcher driven by a 1.5V aaa battery 
was able to megajoule it to hell with it ,,,,

Is not it most effective to work with the highest possible impedance? You once wrote that these phenomena can best be observed in high impedance. My original FR transformer works in high impedance mode, the reactive voltage is 1400v. The 3-phase transformer I can drive in similar impedance values, I have considered working with smaller coupling capacitors and larger discharge capacitors to reduce the voltage at the diode connector, at least that has behaved so with larger capacitors.
