Hello Mick, I do not use fets as a semiconductor switch scrs. The control is simpler as well as the insensitivity of these components. Since I consume the energy in ohmic resistances it is not overunity. Since I'm still working on a way to direct the spikes directly via step down trafos into the battery, it may be that the battery behaves differently. I use too much extra energy. If I did not include the energy for reactive power generation, it would be overunity. That means for me that I make part of the reactive energy available. Tuning and understanding how to tune is the key. The system is not reflective to the energy source when properly tuned. I will try to work with higher voltages and higher impedance resonance. Unfortunately, I currently have little time. Greetings Sven

How much extra energy do you think are coming from the pulses?

Have you used your SIC FET's yet, if so how do they work?

Hello Mick and all,

I had some time last night and doubled the switched winding on the resonance coil and now drive with rms 820 Volt, the rest see Scope picture. I measure the current over a shunt. You can clearly see how sharp the ampere curve is and does not change anymore.

Is that already ultra saturated or what you have called ??

I accidentally broke a weaker capacitor. It looked pretty cute. The upper part has lifted slightly and is very soft again. laughing.

As I understand it, the effect we are looking for is more in the capacitive range of strong electric fields.

The best result I have reached with high voltage and spark gap where the number of flashovers doubled when I connected the ground wire.
This effect I found very impressive for more flashovers, it must finally a faster charging of the capacitor are possible and that can only by more energy or energy flowing from the earth into the system. I also made a video of it.

Sven,

Be careful with the grounding wire.  What Norm calls Neutral spike can
be dangerous.  Charging light elements like Nitrogen releases electrons
so we get the lightening flash.  It seems the earth has a similar
response as the atmosphere as Tesla said like a big capacitor.  In
lightening this is the return stroke, as each shot of lightening is made
up of more than one strike coming back from the earth. 

You don't want ground lightening in your house, so one should probably
use a sufficient flashover tube to protect your creation and yourself. 
Norm would be the person to ask how to mediate for safety.

In the video what is he switching to make the spark larger?
