Is the configuration with the diode connected the only time you had
influence from the fluorescent lights?

Unfortunately, I could not tell the difference with the diode on the xenon tube, I have specially built a switch in between. I'll try a MOT as an inductor. Greetings Sven

there are always some anomaly's  within this energy domain  than is one of them , but try first the more reasonable logical explanation ones !
