Hello Doug,
Thanks for the reply.
What are your thoughts on replacing the Relays with 
Logic-Mosfets for pulsing these coils, with the object 
of scaling the parts down, efficiency and long-term wear ?

  this is obvious next step going to mosfets with Pierre's DZ generator....however there are worries the switch to solid state might suppress and snuff out the backemf/recoil flyback energy compared to the ultra low resistance of the mechanical and noisy relays....
