Hi Mick

Maybe this will help you hack into your invertor and make if frequency adjustable....here it is a WAGAN invertor, and Chad Underwood (cousin of Ian Underwood of FZ and mothers of invention) took out the resistor that controls frequency, and put in a potentiometer instead...

Kone,

What is the range on Mr Underwoods unit?
If you posted a link or pic I can't seem to access it.

Yeah the guy from Flo and Eddie, he's a monster player but then Zappa only had monster players he liked to musically challenge until tears of frustration like a mad professor.

Hi Mick
I can remember him saying the frequency range was not all that great of range but it worked...I think problem was it did not adjust pulse width, so when you go too fast, you cannot also cut back on the pulse width. - if you could not see the attachment I sent, go to EVGRAY files it is the 42nd file down from the top, called "invertor hack"
I can send you it in email if that doesn't work.
I think Ian Underwoods wife was their vibes/marimba player too she was very awesome gave his music very distinctive sound...
 ciaoKone

Kone,

Based on what I have read in the files section there used to be some other highly knowledgeable people here that built super cool shit.

What happened to the persons called Raivo and Brian Prater and Jini?
