This is a picture for those in sunny climates who might forget what it is like not to have an air conditioner. This is where no one will object to a little free energy, or for that matter any energy.I shuff along on snow shoes, having said goodbye to my urban reality, yet my mind still is focused on energy that comes from the universe. We poke and play with that vast reservoir, teasing tiny amounts out by stretching physics rules. Various experiments are giving us glimpses of that energy.I am thinking of the experiments I am ready to perform, just because I have the apparatus handy to do so. The flywheel gizmo, one of us has to do that don't we? I have the flywheelI have a steel test bedOf course, I have my motor collection. Now! What motors to use?First, I should mount the flywheel on bearings, and with shafts out either axis to take pulleys.Think about motor types while I get this stage done.Another test project is the glorified lawn sprinkler. Yes, I keep getting sucked into these water toys! I just found everything I need to do a test here and there around the place. I have opened the last cardboard damn box. Finally! The only thing I have not been able to find at this point, is the cart for my oxy-acetylene tanks. I think I have everything after moving here to the country. So since it is still -9C and -16C at night it might not be smart playing with water, just yet.I fired up the RV to see if it all survived the move. At -19C it took about ten minutes with the 140 mf switch on to be able to start and keep running. This must be why Doug removed all the grease from his bearings. I had two identical 3 hp motors. Both brand new1, I gutted the seals and grease The other, I took the .2 amp penalty, and left intact. They have been great RV motors. Cold weather, well, not so great, but even the grease model works.Cheers Warren Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android
