 this is all up to the builder or experimenter in what you want to do.
 I understand what you are thinking, as you could make the rotor magnets not all line up "straight across" and instead shit the rotor positions a bit or a lot, such as shiftingt120 degrees if you want something to work in 3 phase mode...as far as lenz law goes, adding more rotors and having them shifted halfways between the magnets on left in relation to magnets on right (coils between) will double the frequency, since the coil will get hit by magnet on left end then after that on the right end....you could even quadruple the frequency if large space between magnets in rotors and shift each rotor 1/4 space between magnets...and so you could maybe get a 8 magnet rotor to hit the high impedance Thane Karl Heinz sweetspot of rpms where rotor speeds up under load easily, such as around 1000rpm to rotor but magnets create a frequency 4 times that....anyways so many things to try not enough time...
