Hello Douglas, In the buckblug circuit, inductors are used to store the energy like a buck converter. I think that only the primary winding of this transformer comes into question. I have a transformer and it already has 200 milli Henry and the secondary side almost 20 Henry. I think these transformers have enough mass and you can easily get them. Also I wonder if he means to discharge your capacitors into the "secondary" not the "primary" of a MOT (Microwave Oven Transformer)nas the secondary ia usually described to be the side with the very thin wire, the primary side has the very thick wire......I don't know I am wondering if this has been lost in translation which is primary which is secondary........ Also there is the choice of the two MOTs in series or in parallel....if I were you, I would dump you caps into two MOTs in series, and have the secondary (thin wires) be in series for very high impedance, then let the MOTS kick down the voltage on their own, and now you have usable easy to work with much lower voltages to put into load or further into diode plug however that works. ciao Kone
