Hi Douglas, I just have the freewheeling diodes which have to bring the energy back into the capacitor, but how ??? A simple flashlight circuit with coil and matched capacitor should be enough. I hope Hector answers, that would be nice. then maybe you can understand the diode plug even better. Now dump cap B into cap A to re-fill iwhen you have twice the voltage in cap B your system runs on....de-couple (Disconnect) cap B from mosfet and/or coil whenever you dump cap B into cap A. If you do not have double the voltage quickly enough and of sufficient cap size bing filled up, then have secondary wind around and behind your primary coil,,,by behind I mean to extend the core about twice as long as necessary, and wind up "pickup/induced generator" secondary winds back there...if solenoid-type coil.... Also you can have bifilar or trifilar winds as well, and just use half or a third of them to get pulsed, the rest can then be induced/generator pickup winds....the pickup winds will also "contain" the collapsing field spike too (some of it) So perhaps this will work - combine (cohere?) everything you can recover, and fill caps up by themselves with no load on them (first stage) then 2nd stage is dump cap B back into cap A ciaoKone
