I wonder what power he is measuring. If it is active power then to what load does the power go? It looks like it's the apparent power (VA) that is shown. If he showed the cos phi measurement we could calculate the active power being used.

It looks like the motor to the right is driven by the motor to the left through the belts. The driven motor to the right is loaded at a single phase by the capacitor. This is a pure reactive load except for the heating of the wires.

The motor to the left is not wired exactly as Hector's RV.
