It looks like it is the type or current studied by W.J. Hooper and used by Floyd Sweet in his VTA. On the page the author doesn't understand that the current flows when opening a switch in an inductive circuit. All electronic components have parasitic parts of each other making real components not behave as ideal fundamental components (i.e. the resistor capacitor and inductor). Thus wires have both resistance capacitance and inductance and thus are able to store energy along them as well as in loops formed. The wires also runs through the ambient with its capacitance and inductance. When opening the loop of wire there will be a kickback of voltage to keep the current running. Or perhaps it's the other way around that because the current is running the voltage has to adapt to keep the energy level. That's just like stopping a running flywheel which also isn't possible without having the force change direction. The mechanical force is like the electrical voltage when applying system analogy. The rotation is analog to the current and the flywheel is analog to an inductor.

According to Hooper's experiments the speed of the electrons in/on a wire can be changed even though the current through it is the same. I guess it is this way the adiabatic cooling is formed. The electrons are compressed in one part of the circuit and rarefied in another part of the circuit just like in a refrigeration system or heat pump. Compression gives resistance which gives heat. Rarefaction gives just the opposite which is cold.

Now assume by using a non-inductive coil (i.e. canceling bifilar wound coil) the charge carriers (electrons and holes) are compressed when current runs. Opening the circuit releases the pressure or density and thus cools the wire. Perhaps the non-inductive coil behaves like a reduction valve keeping different charge densities separated in the circuit just like a reduction valve keeps different pressures separated in a heat pump. Probably worth some research unless that has already been done and publicized.

I have retired and have no intentions to write anything.  All plasmas are an interesting topic for research and is Morays subject.

 Given Kone has assured EVERYONE HERE that Norm is an expert on cold electricity, I shall give Norm a few days or even weeks to present a short discourse on the Understandings of Cold Electricity. Heck he could even have a crystal like fundamental understanding of its manifestation.
  
 I hope Norm takes into account some old fundamental science terms like Opposite and Equal and the ever ready As Above So Below. You see, because Norm will tell us how the Sun is a Cold Electricity Generator and why its only the Suns Atmosphere that is HOT not the surface. And I am sure the guys over at thunderbolts.info http://thunderbolts.info will disagree with him and IF Norms presentation of the Electric Sun Theory satisfies how a FisherPaykel motor can run off a 12V BIKE battery and power up 1000’s of ‘watts’ of energy and make an electric car with an 80 hp engine even charge its own batteries as well. He may even know how to make a cold electricity battery like ponds and fishyman.
  
 Then perhaps I might grant you have some understandings of Cold Electricity. It would appear that some members may be to agro to take in more Fundamental truths for the time being. This is Fun isn’t it? Better than reading dull reports on the latest controller circuitry that’s totally un-necessary. Where have you ever heard such theories people????  This is it, staring you in the face and still you resist.
