Body

No doubt about it...............

Quantum computing, then, is extremely exciting http://iontrap.umd.edu/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/SciAm_May2016.pdf. This sophisticated technology could enhance privacy and security, help build more accurate clocks, improve machine learning, and even assist in the creation of new materials. And yet, a major barrier to realizing these advances is qubits’ strength. Along with superposition, “entanglement,” which allows two particles to exert an instantaneous influence on each other, is a key element of quantum computing

.............this is going to save the world in extremely exciting ways.....

Someday, computers will be Tertiary rather that Binary. Until then, we have to put up with poor understanding of the Atomic Structure. In not understanding even ONE DROP OF WATER, this isnt going to happen any time soon. And a rare crystal from Russia isnt the crystal they are looking for.

"Qubits need to be isolated from their surrounding environment"
I see, they have Shielding to isolate them from the Earths Magnetic Fields.... Really?? NASA might just get interested then. Helps to get to the Moon I think.

Still it gets research grants from the Giver-ment as elected Morons are all about privacy and security.
