 Russia is a net importer of Gold. To be used as a backing for a new form of Gold backed crypto along with China and India. So just what is this "half" you speak of?
 "If" and "kill" are pure speculative supporting evidence of the non event of exporting gold. Words are important to convey Truth.  Please provide the mechanism and definition of 'synthetic gold'.

In mans Hot Fusion theories it takes enormous energy as Man doesnt understand the Magnetic Nature of Matter. In a 12VDC Car battery powered cold fusion reactor, Gold can easily be made if the Memory of Gold is present. There used to be a bottle of my Assay Dust showing 1.5 gm per tonne (to low for commercial mining) sitting on the top shelf at the legendary workshop of Joe's that we harvested several grams from just a handful of Assay Dust. It drew much interest from the owners of the Ok Tedi Mine in New Guinea where a 3 day Demo was shown to NG Govt Ministers and the Directors of the Mine.
