HectorA toroidal transformer?
Something like this?This is a nice big wire torroid of unknown specs, except it has a good range of voltage values when I take two wires and put in 100 volts and measure pairs and anything that sticks out of it.You have seen pictures of my monster 3 phase, so you know that one.I have also a burnt out Variac, fried, when I was running way too much through it. I am thinking it must have a pretty decent core? Could I strip the wire off and start afresh winding it as a torroid of my own needs? I have no idea what Variacs use as a core material, do you?I don't know why a simple Tesla pancake stack wouldn't work as a three phase transformer either?( talk about being cheap, only using lamp cord.)Okay, remember that I am still playing silly bugger with this Samsung motor and a generator head, believing that I just might squeeze some magic out of itIn the event of distraction I just get bogged down, finishing nothing.Be patientCheers WarrenSent from Yahoo Mail on Android

Okayare several ways , i explained in the past, banging phase a & c with a center null b and a coil (external to pick up the emp) just check the hemmoroidal transformers based on my post ,,,
