Copper can kill trees as well as humans. Is this device even legal if tested by health authorities?

Of course there is people drinking water with silver ions which are also antibiotic. If healthy I wouldn't recommend getting metal ions into the body where they can harm DNA molecules. One metal atom can damage a molecule of ten thousand atoms.
