At approx 8000 MPH there is another "barrier" like the Sound Barrier.
 

 The Magnetic Fields of the Earth 'effect' the construct of Matter at depth and at altitude.
 

 For example Ocean Salt https://www.konaseasalt.com/ https://www.konaseasalt.com/ taken at a depth of 1000 feet is not the same as Sea Salt from the surface.  This should be 'theoretically impossible" given the mixing of the Oceans and currents. 

 But 'matter' is Magnetic in Structure and is easily 'transmuted' by Magnetics and the Earths Magnetic Fields.
 

 This transformation of Matter by Magnetics will effect that which 'flies' or swims through it as anomalies of speed and altitude or depth. 
 
 Just to rub a Neo across an Aluminum Plate one can 'feel' drag. The faster one moves it the more drag appears. as one increases speed, all the way up to the Light speed, there will develop 'harmonics" of vibrations (or waves) that have another impact on the movement or Speed Bumps.
