Having read and studied the Tesla book on Experiments with HV High Freq 
Electricity, I built the famous disruptor transformer exactly as he 
described it in a one cubic foot tank using mineral oil for insulation.

I had an Israeli X-Ray tank power supply, 60KVDC that  I opened and 
reversed the FWB to give me an output which was negative at the Anode 
Output terminal, Now a cathode voltage supply you might say. When you 
play with Tesla's particle beam experiments, you are launching negative 
HVDC unidirectional pulses through a well designed high powered magnetic 
gap. The anti-parallelmagnetic field flux between the permanent magnetic 
gap and the plasma magnetic field give you the magnetic vortex 
anniliation -re-connect phenomenon which is how Tesla described the 
action at a distance reaction. see how Alfvin Wave compression compress 
the oppositely flowing magnetic flux lines causing the event.
