Well humans are pretty much predictable. Their past will be repeated, mistakes and all, as the future is based on cyclic History.

Then its Violently rejected (belittle the presenter anyway one can all the way through to Spiritual burning at the stake or banning)
Finally its accepted as self evident... (by following procedure)
It was foretold, twice, the behaviour of Idea rejection would be evident even here.
Whats the best Defense? Why Offense of course. So I jumped in with “that tone” hoping to get past stage one and stage 2 very quickly and save time and writing. It was only ever going to be violent opposition eventually anyway. The idea is not only just too new, Its revolutionary with History. Nothing like you’ve ever heard before but an explanation for every anomaly you can think of including devices just for Transmutation. That legendary of all chemical impossibilities including the Silver Joecell and the Gold Joecell with the Aqua Chi coming in at 3rd and Ocean White a distant 4th.
