BartRemember the upstairs museum at John Bedini's shop when we visited? That is where I got him pissed off, snooping under the bench, when he went off for a phone call. I found a working Howard Johnson device there in the form of a 7.5 inch live steam hobby, gondola car, studded with magnet chunks running in scenery, also studded with magnet chunks.I knew it worked as soon as it accelerated through that trough and kept on going. It was a lucky thing to catch it before it landed on the floor as John came back in the room.I have no idea why he was so secretive about it, other than being made by Howard Johnson's own hands, and certainly precious.I had made a tiny little chevron type working magnet motor with a ferrite fridge magnet, sticky tape, and paper staples, on a piece of typing paper. It worked just enough to show that it might be a promising for something bigger, sometime.Cheers Warren
