I have had a little bit of contact with your friend Jesus, as when my very best friend (bass player for the fuckedtones, Mit Geary) died (took a speedball heroin and cocaine mix) I was crying as felt it was my fault a lot since had cut him off and would not answer his calls and such since he was smoking heroin pretty bad and figured I should just cut him off as punishment this was about 13 years ago...
Anyways I said a prayer to Jesus and got a return message as clear as day:
"thank you for thinking of me" That was all, but I think this is "how he works!"...
Also I was at a church once with very fat and loud bombastic black preacher and I was forced to sit through his sermon...he really threw me the wrong way, his message was there was a common phrase everyone uses to say what it is Jesus said, but in fact this common phrase (cant remember exactly what it is now) was never actually written in bible....so that was his point, like he discovered and revealed this fact, but to me it is so stupid, as so what?
Does something have to be written into bible to be real and fact?? Of course not, there are a million facts and things without doubt REAL and truth not written within bible at all....so this was revelation to me, (given to me by black preacher I considered an idiot in sheeps clothing haha)
as when the "bible-thumpers" quote bible, they also will imply its in the bible and (sometimes) actual quotes and words of Jesus or God so therefore it must be real, but in fact it is just as real or real as everything NOT written in bible!! So all the things Jesus or God DO NOT say, is just as real and truth as what they do say (at least what certain people will translate and interpret they say) This is important I think as also it opens up other religious teachings and philosophies such as Hindu and Muslim and Buddhist for examples which are not anything to fear AT ALL and all this is a very simple teaching of Jesus given to me.
