I designed a special hub for the Tesla Turbine disk assembly which
eliminated the lybrinth sealing problem and insured that all gas flow
passed through the spinning disk assembly. Did a Patent disclosure with
the Patent office and gave that to the Tesla Museum for their history. see
From the time I gave this document to the Museum, they had one year in
which to file the Patent. It is in Free Public Domain now.

The Tesla Turbine is an implosion device. You could create a deep vacuum
on hub side and drive disk with the resultant in-flow of gas.
