MickI loved visiting New York City, with my schooner. We would grab a mooring at 76th street marina, out in the Hudson river, take the dinghy into the dock, and pay only $15 per night/ day to pull the dinghy up on the dock so the surge wouldn't bother it from passing barges, and tugs.A security guard would wave you out, as you walked into mid town Manhattan, at Central park. The museum of Modern Art, was right near, as also the museum of Natural History. We we would walk right by the twin towers on our way to Greenwich Village, and further South, to Canal Street, where I would shop the great surplus stores, and Pearl Paints, the art supply store, Ratner's Cheese cake, the Strand bookstore and finally, past the street people living under the overpass, and back to our boat moored on the river. That 9/11 it was awful. A city, a state, and a Country in shock. We entered New York Harbour from the North, coming down the Hudson, via the New York Barge Canal across Lake Ontario, from Canada, going South, to South America, by a sailing schooner, I had built myself, on the second lengthy voyage.Very bad timing! It could have been worse, a day earlier. As it was, downtown Manhattan was burning. We were held at 45 cal machinegun gunpoint, by teenaged battle fatigued kids in a rubber dinghy who greeted our "foreign" flag(Csnadian) with great suspicion. It was tense, staying in the Chesapeake until the end of hurricane season, and a relief go finally leave offshore, the American waters, being challanged by helicopters, 100 miles offshore throwing a spot light on us in the middle of the night and me running to the aftdeck to display our Canadian flag flat, so they could see it from above, and not blow us out of the water. We somehow missed getting anthrax, and were able to make landfall in St Thomas in the American Virgin Islands, nine days later.Cheers Warren

Kone,
You need to check out all the cars where only certain kinds of metal melted only like it was tuned for it. I bought the book Where did the Towers go and the detail she went to investigating it is amazing. The book is worth having for collector reasons even if one is stuck on stupid and thinks planes did it. One of the items was what you just brought up, she located the records for all the earthquake recorders and compared to Richter measurements of known building implosions. Anyhow super detailed study, better than most dissertations. I went to high school with the son of the inventor of the Neutron bomb so have heard interesting stories along similar lines of super low dial a yield battlefield accoutrements. I think those were mostly replaced with the electrostatic fuel air devices because of shelf life or some other reason. I know one of the first responders who was so freaked by what he lived through he left the country for good, needless to say cant repeat anything I have heard other than nothing is what they say.

Hi Mick
What I understand is the mini.nuke followed path of least resistance straight up the sevice elevator shaft ..and vaporized everthing in its path and proximity...
The liquid metal pouring out seen could of been.a mistake and some thing going off that was not supposed to at that time such as nanothermite melting beams before it was supposed to...for sure aviation fuel kerosene is not going to be melting any steel
The.mini nuke i assume was not that powerful (1kt) and what they used to call a neutron bomb with very low yield radiation. Supposedly you could move troops in after three days but I doubt it and many soldiers died from radiation.poisoning the army could never admit to (became a mysterious strain of agent orange eh) they used these in Vietnam I heard too from air force guy who used to arm them with big stick as they rolled out back of cargo plan...generals loved them he said because they left a very flat blast.pattern and you could have airfield in a couple days as opposed to weeks or months of dropping a huge conventional bomb that leaves giant crater...anyways the whole directed weapons theory for 911 I would think is a directed nuke blast and some of it not so directed and went shooting out frying tops of cars etc........
There was tritium detected so seems proof there was some sort of mini nuke blast
