Ole, a careful study of the Anti Parallel, Magnetic Flux Annihilation

) is required reading to understand that this kinetic energy conversion
into a form of energy still foreign to our pea size brains. Modern solid
state devices stand absolutely no chance of survival in this strange
environment therefore I would not even suggest same. If you actually
saw this phenomenon happen, you would simply saw WOW. I have witnessed
it numerous times and know that solid state is not the answer. In my
unidirectional DC pulse, Magnetic spark gap experiments, I used a long
throw high amperage (DC) flash suppressed mechanical switch to fire the
HVDC. Learned from reading Tesla experiences in the Edison DC
switching. Bert & Phil used an air blown HVDC firing gap when they were
exploding 10 ga. wire coils in their Z Pinch experiments with 25KJ cap
discharges at 30KVDC. Also see the study of parallel flux lines which
repel vs the anti-parallel lines which attract one another and it takes
a critical angle to cause the collision effect.
