Worst thing to look out for in grow operations is gangs (russian bikers mexicans chinese vietnamese etc etc etc) finding where is grow operation then breaking in and stealing everything as soon as.its ready for market. What are you going to do shoot everyone?  Cops can be  put in caatevory of gangs too, they are corrupt everywhere in world, carry guns, look out for only themselves get away with.murder all the time.
Let those guys with small army private army do the growing you could provide technical expertise...look into putting neodymium magnet under roots of plants.. pot itself not so bad but what they will dip the shitty leftover in is what is fucked up  formaldahyde (aka dank) , meth, heroin, opium, speed, evev viagra wbo knows what is in the shit...legal is good since you know what it is at least but those already established illegal pot growers are pissed when it goes legal and will break in and steal no problem if site becomes known...in your town I think is biker gangs controlling weed market...biker gangs and cops sometimes symbiotic
