In modulation depends the biasing your amp will have as the concept of hyper modulation is still not accepted by FCC  the constant current is just a waste of power in the finals , as bad as the standard motors versus RV  as sample why i need a constant 20 amps in my TH9800 to transmit just 5W ? if i can just use a peak modulation limiter circuit ? lately it looks as if assholes took over in radio manufacture design in behave of greedy power company who wants radios to really waste power some day what i say here will be taken into consideration , as burnt finals add to the waste pile ! hams need to have a say ..

I had a prototype president CB radio were i used the concept . of total current modulation not voltage modulation i biased the current .. to near zero then modulated AM CURRENT to driver voltage peak  . that is full 1000% modulation  also used it in an AM station that had a 10,000w permit  with 500W base-band and some 2000% hyper-modulation range with no sidebands band spillover , worked for 2 years and FCC did not even noticed  , when the new transmitter was installed  they lost their quality completely ,,,

well they did not contract me for the installation so it was their problem , the old transmitter was totally wasted by opportunistic rats , who made it their home !

 The TTL carrier comment was to present the question: In a wideband class AB RF amp without a LC tank used for the modulation freq, where is the PF of leading or lagging coming from before the antenna load?
