RonIt doesn't work that way in practice.There is a heavy duty pile of evolving human knowledge, worked on every single day, by very intelligent ethical people, who get very involved with the day to day human condition, and the suffering caused by archaic ill thought out practices, in law. It is not simple.
The Queen was only a symbol, and has been for decades, when it comes to any power. Like the statue of liberty, just a symbol.Down in the trenches, that squawking madhouse, called Parliament, we are slipping away from sober reflective thought, carefully considering the future of our country, locked into teams of winners, and losers, rather than altruistic best possible solutions.This realm is still given the best shot by those very bright people who make up the courts. It is no surprise that people vote for their favourite bozo of the night time TV circuit, just for laughs.However, the vapid banter is no substitute for serious thought regarding subjects of profound importance to humanity's future.It is not a role for vanity, or greed, to be a judge. Empathy, soul searching, and tough decisions, keeping bad people from harming anyone, ever again, are the judge's code to live by.It is a tough road, suffering the crazy ideas of the leader of the day, who has no clue of even the most elementary issues at stake, and little capability of learning them, operating by gut emotion alone.In spite of what organized crime would have you believe, not everyone is for sale.Cheers Warren

Warren, the government of Canada is a Corporation. Lawyers swear an oath to the Queen... not to the Canadian people.
