Their share sit flat, doing nothing exciting, so they sell them, lowering the share value, because those shares sell poorly.Along comes Mr moneybags M'CDuck, from some off shore tax haven Island, and buys the happy, viable, company, that makes excellent products, by scooping up those unsold shares.No money is spent, because essentially it is fraud. It is the promise of payment for those shares in the future.Meanwhile, M'CDuck, liquidates the assets of that company, filling his pockets, and pisses off leaving the whole bunch, that worked in that company scratching their heads, wondering what happened, oh and out of a company, a company that should have been, as good as gold.You wonder why folks are out of work, or you can't get that really well made stuff you used to be able to buy. That is the problem.If you feel that government shouldn't get involved, you are likely of a conservative persuassion.Myself, I feel there should be laws against this destruction of jobs, and the sleazy means of ripping those jobs out from under the conscious hard working folks doing them.Concentration of capital in a small number of companies is bad.The people working in mega companies lose a sense of importance. This is bad.Attachment to customers doesn't matter when you have the only game in town.Pump, and dump?There should be laws, they should be enforced.Everybody should be able to prosper from their work.No greedy individules should be able scoop the steady bill paying companies, and liquidate them, with a flash of smoke, and mirrors.It is just being fair, and honest, something that the one percent don't see as guiding rules.We, as a collective we, need to make good rules, and make sure they are being followed.Criminals have no use for rules, other than goal posts to break through.Look around you and see who is abiding with the rules.We know from our energy experiments, that some rules are in need of revision, because new observations are being made that are not explained by the present rules.
My appology to Werner regarding politics, but this is a matter to stand tall, and be brave about, rather than being swept away by chaos, and anarchy of criminal activity, trying to take control of us.Let us get back to energy discussion, watching out for the sleazy developers.Cheers Warren
