Norm,
RF can have DC components, it can imbue polarity on other objects if
assymetric, a quarter wave resonator can bias towards one or the other
polarity of DC offset. In fact I have transmitted over a CB with an RF
diode on the center conductor. Not all RF is symmetrical.
Based on your response I don't suppose you have noticed a bias one way
or the other.
Wish I had a shaded pole motor here now as I would spike it with DC to
see if it ran backwards on either polarity spike just for shits and giggles.
