In addition to this is the Delta -Delta step down transformer that gives 
230VAC between legs for there is no common neutral from which to derive 
the 120VAC.    Industrial applications sometimes ground one of the Delta 
legs (secondary) to create a common from which to get 125VAC.  Very 
dangerous and is never used in domestic applications.
