DougHave you managed to try this for yourself?It sounds interesting the way that It, perhaps, might free the signal from Lenz's mean old law.One only needs two Mots ( I like the way that you wrote that out for everyone)Acronyms make it hard for new people to get involved, as the jargon just comes off as bird calls, rather than useful information.Cheers Warren

With intermittent random DC pulses its not going to work well but with any AC generator or transformer it should work very well unless very high frequencies then some changes should be made.
The way it works is let's say you want to be shorting the secondary output of a MOT ( microwave oven trsnsformer)
So let's say there is 120vac 60hz AC on HV windings of MOT so you will get about 7vac stepped down.on secondary LV windings so this you can short into caps with bidirectional mosfet circuit.
Now use a 2nd MOT "B" that as its HV windings parallel to the other MOT.
Use the LV 7vac from MOT B as the signal for Tons peak detector circuit.
