Clearly, the noise changes with extra capacity, switching what you've heard was extra capacity and the sound gets harder and louder. But the iron core temperature then increases massively.

I still think that the diode plug is a saturation machine to put it simply.

Part of the resonance energy is taken from the FR transformer and stored in order to generate this saturation in another transformer, as in my push-pull transformer.

The discharge size of the diode plug capacitor must be so small that the transformer is so saturated with the energy just to generate an over-energy event. That's why the diode plug dies on some transformers and not on others.

This is also a step I want to go if I have more time.
