Your daisy chain of PM brushed DC motors very successful experiments  with AC side of FWBR across motor A brushes and DC side of FWBR feeding next motor  B at its brushes  and so on down a line of DC brushed motors U think could be me more spectacular with not standard FWBRs but instead 4 of the  the new 50A 400V hyper fast diodes they sell now, which is going to leave nothing behind in the transfer from one to other.
Perhaps the inherent backemf forces locked into magnetic field by nature are allowed to manifest and transfer because of the FWBR instead of the usual single steering diode most people will do,since it works bringing out the flyback spikes already and is common way to do it....maybe something more happens of great significance with FWBRs..
Also more advanced is have double commutators on motor A and commutators #1 works normally bit commutaor #2 becomes a switch to connect motor A to motor B  but commutators #2 is used as 2nd switch to delay about 5 degrees ( like echo) connection of one of the AC legs of FWBR and then adjust this timing to findb sweet spot.
Motor A should drop down in amp draw and motor B will have even more power and speed.
